Join Chamber members to celebrate the service and leadership of U.S. Senator Roy Blunt prior to his retirement from the United State Senate. Throughout his service, Senator Blunt has been a statesman who prioritizes collaboration, the success and growth of the state, and ensuring the needs of Missourians are met. He has been a strong partner for Southwest Missouri and the business community and has been a catalyst for many of the major investments and progress in Springfield and statewide. His leadership and commitment to Missouri have been critical in moving our state and region forward. This event will give members the opportunity to hear insights and reflections from Senator Blunt about his time serving in federal office and thank him for his tremendous service.

U.S. Senator Roy Blunt was elected to the United States Senate in 2010 after being re-elected to the U.S. House of Representatives seven times. In the Senate, he serves on several committees, including as the Chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee and the top Republican of both the Senate Rules Committee and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education. Prior to his federal elected service, he was a history teacher, a county official, and served as Missouri’s Secretary of State. Senator Blunt also served four years as the President of Southwest Baptist University.
