Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri, a 501c3 nonprofit, is seeking a diverse selection of volunteer leaders to serve on our Board of Directors. Ideal candidates will be passionate about the organization's mission - to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Requirements: Board members are expected to serve on a committee, regularly attend meetings and events, and make an annual personal gift to the organization that is reflective of their ability. There is a total annual give/get of $720. Meeting time: Meetings are monthly rotating between noon and 6:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are held at a board members' business location or the GOTR offices.
