STC Announces Springfield Tech Week: A Citywide Celebration of Technology & Innovation
Springfield Tech Council (STC) proudly announces the inaugural Springfield Tech Week, scheduled for March 23-29. This week-long celebration aims to showcase Springfield's growing technology industry, attract talent, foster innovation, and strengthen connections among businesses, professionals, and students. To mark this milestone, Springfield Mayor Ken McClure will issue an official proclamation recognizing the week (8am, March 26 at STC Squared conference).
Springfield Tech Week features a variety of events, including industry tours, networking opportunities, and educational sessions, culminating in the region’s premier tech event, STC Squared Tech Conference on March 26 at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The conference will offer session tracks covering software development, cybersecurity, AI, cloud computing, and leadership, along with an exhibition hall featuring over 40 exhibitors. A networking happy hour provides attendees with opportunities to build connections with industry peers. Presenting sponsor Pitt Technology Group leads this year’s event, with additional sponsorship from various technology-focused companies. Springfield Tech Week includes an additional premier event in cooperation with Missouri State University as they host the U.S. Information Technology Collegiate Conference (USITCC) from March 27-29. This national competition will bring together top IT students from across the country to compete in cybersecurity, networking, and programming challenges, and provides an opportunity for industry professionals and employers to engage with emerging tech talent.

• Bluebird Network Underground Data Center Tour – A rare opportunity to explore Springfield’s underground data storage facility.
• Pickle & Chill Networking Event – Hosted at The Pickle & Chilly Dill, blending wellness and professional networking by Pitt Technology Group, Verkada and Ruckus.
• Tech Trivia Night at The Roost – A casual social event where attendees can test their tech knowledge, hosted by SW Business Solutions LLC.
• Student Game Night – Hosted by Springfield Devs and Open SGF, an interactive night of games and connection for students interested in the tech field.
• Post-STC Squared Happy Hour Hosted by TierOne – A networking event for professionals to unwind after the region’s flagship tech conference.
• Women in Tech Connect – Organized by Springfield Women in Technology, providing mentorship and networking for women and gender minorities.
• IT Industry Break-In Hosted by JMARK – A student-focused networking event designed to help future professionals connect with employers.
