SRC Named Corporate Humanitarian of the Year by United Way
Springfield, MO – SRC Holdings Corp. is excited to announce that it has been honored as the Corporate Humanitarian of the Year by United Way of the Ozarks. The recognition comes as a result of SRC associates’ ongoing dedication to serving their community.
Each year, United Way of the Ozarks recognizes outstanding organizations and individuals who go above and beyond to create positive change in the Ozarks. SRC and its employee-owners have consistently given back to the community through giving and volunteering, including being the largest workplace contributor to the United Way’s 2022-2023 campaign.
In conjunction with the company-wide award, United Way also recognized Leah Lee, SRC Automotive, and LaCinda Young, Global Recovery Corp., for their remarkable stewardship as Employee Campaign Managers. Their leadership and motivation made a significant impact on their peers’ participation in the campaign.
“We are very proud of our associates for their ownership over the issues in our community,” said Mike White, President of SRC Logistics and United Way of the Ozarks board member. “We appreciate the recognition and look forward to sharing with the entire SRC team.”
The awards presentation took place during the United Way’s Campaign Kickoff Event held on August 29. This occasion marked the beginning of the 2023-2024 campaign, uniting community leaders, philanthropists, and organizations committed to fostering positive social impact now and for years to come.
