SRC Automotive Celebrates 10 Million Safe Hours Milestone
SRC Automotive, a leading provider of new and remanufactured gasoline engines and components and subsidiary of SRC Holdings Corp., proudly announces a major safety milestone: 10 million safe working hours without a lost-time accident. The achievement reflects the company’s safety-first culture and commitment to operational excellence.
Since its inception in 1999, SRC Automotive has prioritized the safety and well-being of its employee-owners through all facets of its manufacturing operations. Associates at all levels of the organization participate in regular trainings and take an active role in safety through reporting and improvement initiatives.
“Safety is integrated into everything we do. It’s not just a box to check; it’s a core value,” said Curtis DeWitt, Environmental Health and Safety Manager at SRC Automotive. “We want everybody to go home safely at the end of the day, and it’s up to all of us to make it happen. I am very proud of what this team has accomplished and even more proud of the safety culture we’ve all worked together to build.”
SRC Automotive celebrated the achievement with company-wide events at both its Springfield and Monett, Missouri, locations on April 7 and 8 in which associates enjoyed a meal together and received commemorative t-shirts.
