Join us for our 10th Annual Springfield Polar Plunge at Ski Shack Springfield as this "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics Missouri athletes by walking, running or crawling into the frigid winter waters. In 2024, the Springfield Plunge had 150 plungers and raised more than $39,000! This year, we plan to raise more than $50,000, with your help. This one-of-a-kind event promises a fun atmosphere complete with music, funny costumes and lasting memories for everyone! 

Day of registration will be from 10:30am - 12pm.  

All Polar Bear and Student plungers must raise a minimum of $75 in order to participate.  Incentives are in place for those who raise above and beyond the minimum.  Please see the flier on website listed below. 

Costume Contest & Awards:

Awards for Best Team and Best Individual Costumes and Highest Individual, Highest Team, and Highest Law Enforcment Fundraisers will be awarded at the end of the event.
