Springfield, MO – KPM CPAs & Advisors (KPM) is pleased to welcome our new benefits and HR coordinator Shelly Lea, aPHR. Shelly joins KPM’s HR department and previously served as a Senior HR Coordinator at American National.

“We’re excited to have Shelly join the team,” said Sara Choate, managing director at KPM. “She will be a great resource for our employees, and we look forward to her contributions,” she added.

Shelly has nine years of experience and is the primary point of contact for employees’ benefits-related questions or issues. She also helps coordinate the daily administration of the benefits and HR functions for the firm to help ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Shelly holds the Associate Professional in HR certification from the HR Certification Institute and is a member of The Society for Human Resource Management and Springfield Area Human Resources Association. She graduated from Missouri State University (MSU) with her B.S. degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Administration and received a Human Resources Certificate from MSU.
