Springfield, MO – KPM CPAs & Advisors (KPM) is excited to announce the firm’s recent ranking as one of ‘America’s Top Recommended Tax and Accounting Firms’ by Forbes, in partnership with market research company Statista. Only 227 U.S. firms were listed overall; 202 for tax, 115 for accounting, and only 90 firms for both services, the distinction awarded to KPM. The list features some of the largest and smallest firms across the country, with only six Missouri-based firms included.

To compile the ranking, 1,800 survey responses were collected by market research company Statista and included CPAs, enrolled agents, tax lawyers, accountants, and chief financial officers between mid-August and mid-September 2019. Industry respondents were asked to list ten firms for tax and ten for accounting that they would recommend to a client, should they not be able to serve the client themselves (self-recommendations were not allowed). Those who work on the client side of the survey, were also asked to identify ten firms in each category who they would recommend based on their professional experience over the past three years.
