Juliette will go on to contend for the Missouri Youth of the Year title and a $4,000 college scholarship from Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

“I am so proud of all of our candidates. Juliette is a remarkable young woman. She is truly one of the most resilient people I have ever met,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield CEO Brandy Harris, “During the Youth of the Year process, she worked so hard to be vulnerable and share her story in order to help others. I am so proud of her and cannot wait to see the remarkable things she does.”

Juliette is a sophomore at Parkview High School. She is most interested in connecting with other people and helping others by sharing her own personal experiences. At school, she serves as Drum Lieutenant in the Lassies Drum and Bugle Corps. She would like to go to MSU and get her Master’s degree in kinesiology and athletic training.

Juliette is a member of Musgrave BGC and previously served as President of Keystone, a Club program providing youth with leadership development opportunities. Juliette says, “My favorite thing about being a Club member is being surrounded by people who are like family, who help me continue to grow as a person.”
