Hotel Vandivort proudly announces the addition of Compass Meeting Hall, a thoughtfully designed space that expands the hotel’s event and meeting capabilities while paying homage to the historic significance of the property and downtown location. Designed with both sophistication and function in mind, Compass Meeting Hall offers a refined setting for corporate gatherings, intimate retreats, and mid-sized social events. Compass continues Hotel Vandivort’s legacy of blending historic character with modern innovation. The new meeting hall, located in the “V2” building of Hotel Vandivort, provides versatility with its various seating layouts, capacities, and technological offerings. Compass accommodates up to 140 guests when arranged in a theatre-style setup and up to 88 in a banquet-style layout. With the grandeur of Hotel Vandivort’s ballroom already established, the vision for Compass Meeting Hall was to create a more intimate, yet equally sophisticated space. Co-owner Karen McQueary, who has overseen the design of the property from its beginnings, shares: “Our ballroom is a lively space, but Compass provides a quieter, more intimate option—making it perfect for corporate retreats or cocktail receptions.” Inspired by the quiet refinement of a library, the hall features carefully curated design touches, found in its warm wood paneling, statement lighting fixtures, and easily concealed tech features. Ultimately designed for versatility, it seamlessly accommodates corporate meetings, classroom-style sessions, receptions, and mid-sized holiday gatherings. Compass Meeting Hall is now open for private and corporate event bookings.
