Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield CEO Brandy Harris receives Executive of the Year Award
The Boys & Girls Club of Springfield (BGCS) is proud to announce that its CEO Brandy Harris, was recognized by Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) at BGCA’s Midwest Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana earlier this October.
Harris was presented with Boys & Girls Club of America’s Midwest Executive of the Year award.
The Executive of the Year demonstrates outstanding leadership to their organization. They are often viewed as the visionary leader moving their organization to new levels of programming, staffing, and facilities.

BGCA holds its annual Midwest Region Leadership Conference for local Boys & Girls Club Board members and professionals who work at Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the Midwest region. States in the region include: Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The annual conference is an opportunity for board leaders and Club professionals to network and attend workshops. The conference also provides a platform for local Club professionals and board members to receive recognition at a national level.
