What You’ll Do:

Drive the Brand

  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-year marketing and communication strategies to showcase the Branson/Lakes Area as a must-visit destination.

  • Lead digital advertising, content creation, social media, and partnership initiatives that tell the region’s story across multiple channels.

  • Oversee website management, SEO, and paid digital campaigns to maximize visibility and engagement.

Lead with Vision

  • Manage and mentor a creative, high-performing marketing team.

  • Guide external agency partners and vendors, ensuring they deliver impactful campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador and trusted spokesperson for the region—building strong relationships with media, tourism partners, and community leaders.

Measure, Analyze, Optimize

  • Assist in the development and administration of the marketing budget, ensuring every dollar drives measurable impact.

  • Establish KPIs and use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaigns and strategies.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and traveler behaviors.

Collaborate & Connect

  • Partner with local tourism businesses, state and regional organizations, and key stakeholders to align strategies and share success.

  • Elevate the destination’s image through compelling storytelling and strategic marketing in key feeder markets.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience—8+ years in a senior marketing role).

  • Proven success leading data-driven marketing strategies, ideally in tourism, hospitality, or economic development.

  • Strong leadership and team management experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a portfolio showcasing both print and digital work.

  • Experience managing large budgets and presenting performance analytics.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media strategy, and analytics tools.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events and conferences.
