Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing digital fundraising strategies to promote awareness, understanding and engagement of Ozarks Food Harvest’s mission. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will help manage social media content, campaigns and digital fundraisers, while evaluating effectiveness and success. They will publish digital marketing content within brand standards. This role includes digital promotion for major fundraising and awareness campaigns. The Digital Marketing Coordinator must possess tremendous attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Fundraising
• Partner with Communications Coordinator and Graphic Designer to create compelling cross-platform content
• Lead planning and scheduling of all social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other emerging platforms
o Evaluate insights and analytics to determine effectiveness and performance
o Work with Graphic Designer and Communications Coordinator to ensure consistent branding and communications
• Manage paid social campaigns (Facebook, Google Ads) and social media fundraisers
o Evaluate and measure digital activities to advance goals
• Help strategize email communication and eAppeals via Mailchimp
o Manage email database segmentation and reports
o Evaluate success metrics of each campaign, through open rate, click rate and conversions
o Implement A/B testing
• Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of all digital marketing activities include website, Google Ads, and paid advertising
• Maintain website content, plug-ins, and updates while maintaining SEO ranking
• Plan and execute SEO tactics.
• Secondary to Graphic Designer, create graphics or digital assets as needed.
• Work in partnership with the Marketing & Events Manager on all major fundraising and awareness events
o Assist with promotional efforts, including digital outreach and community calendars
o Assist with fundraising efforts for digital campaigns, such as Giving Tuesday
• Stay current with industry best practices and educate others in an effective manner
Position Qualifications - Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or similar area of study required
• Two years’ experience in planning and executing social media campaigns and tracking results
• Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with social media strategy and advertising platforms such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite (or similar digital platforms), Meta Business Suite, etc.
• Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms
• Experience with WordPress and SEO best practices
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Solid project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage and execute programs independently
• Must be physically able to lift 25-50 pounds and setup for organization events/press activities
• Expected to work outside normal business hours when needed
Position Qualifications – Preferred:
• Google Certified (i.e. Analytics, Ads)
• Meta Certified
• Basic digital photography and videography experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Prior nonprofit marketing experience
