The Carpet Shoppe has been around for over 50 years and is one of the most trusted names for flooring in Southwest Missouri! We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Flooring Estimator to lead our incredible team!
Having extensive knowledge of commercial flooring materials, installation techniques, and keeping up with industry trends is a must! You’ll be the go-to point of contact regarding all our commercial projects. Our clients put their trust in us, so we need you to provide expert guidance to our clients on selecting the appropriate flooring solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements. Communication and customer service are crucial for this role!

Flooring Experience needed:
- In depth flooring product knowledge such as: carpet tile, broadloom carpet, LVT, VCT, resilient flooring, rubber flooring, tile, base, and transitions.
- You have experience of being an estimator and able to bid all flooring types including large and small commercial projects.
- Comfortable reading and thoroughly understanding project drawings and specifications.
- Management: 5 years
- Commercial Sales: 5 years
- Customer Service: 1 year
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Key responsibilities:
- Manage commercial team and commercial projects to ensure each project is delivered on time with desired results.
- Quoting new bids while developing and maintaining key relationships with onsite Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Seeking out new opportunities for bids while building new business/client relationships.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with our internal commercial team as well as vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
- Be a resource to other team members to offer guidance and help mentor.
- Organize/attend pre-install and project progress meetings when required.
- Manage project performance while communicating progress/status to all relevant stakeholders (management, client, vendors, etc).
