Closing & Servicing Specialist

Job Summary This position within the Government Guaranty Lending division will primarily work on tasks associated with FSA lending. The ideal candidate would be familiar with agricultural lending practices and procedures. Job responsibilities include efficient and accurate processing, monitoring, and maintenance of loan documents and files. Providing quality support and service daily through clear communication to internal and external customers is critical in this job.

Primary Location/Schedule:

• Hybrid work environment: schedule requires a combination of on-site and home office hours.

o On-site: 3110 S Delaware Ave, Springfield MO 65804 primarily, other locations as needed

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday; occasional additional hours as needed

• Full-time – 40 hours per week average

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Work at alternative designated business sites as needed

• Basic knowledge of FSA and other forms of government guarantee funded loans

• Minimum of 3-5 years of loan and/or loan processing experience, preferred

Required Skills:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills

• Basic knowledge of banking operations, documentation, policy and procedures

• Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills

• Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
