2026 SGForum

The Network appreciates your interest in applying to be a Session Speaker at our annual signature event, SGForum. This half-day summit will be delivered in an in-person format. Applicants must be prepared to present in person on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in Springfield, MO.

Applications are available from Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, until Monday, Jan. 05, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. To be considered, complete the electronic application within the allotted time frame. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants will be notified no later than Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2026, of their status.


Speaker Expectations

  • Complete and submit the Request for Session Speaker form by Monday, Jan. 05, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST.
  • If selected to advance in the selection process, attend an in-person or virtual meeting.

Presentation Expectations

Presentation topics should align with our theme: "Amplify: Turn Up Your Impact." The presentation also should fall into one of these three categories, as it relates to your interpretation of the theme:

  • Professional Development
  • Community Development
  • Personal Development 


The presentation must include three (3) actionable “takeaways” attendees can put into practice immediately to start improving their lives.

Application

Applications are available to individuals interested in providing high-quality content based on the parameters outlined below.

Presentation topics should align with our theme: Amplify: Turn Up Your Impact. 

The presentation should be around the development of attendees' community, personal or professional skills.

Applicants must be prepared to present in an in-person conference format.

The presentation must include three (3) actionable “takeaways” attendees can implement immediately to improve their lives.

Presenters may not use their allotted time to sell products and/or services. This is a non-partisan event; speakers may not attempt to sway the audience towards individual political views, political candidates or parties, partisan organizations, or specific legislation.

The Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will need a copy of your presentation beforehand to review your content. A practice session may also be required.
